One of the poets packs every order by hand. Patience is part of the fun.
A place as a book, or the same 49 art poems as loose cards (€ 49 card by card, € 25 as a set).
Parcels leave the house on Tuesdays and Fridays. Shipping & delivery on the cart page.
There is no warehouse. One of the poets packs your order at the kitchen table, walks it to the post office and writes your name by hand. It can be slow, but patience is part of the journey.
Rates grow with weight and box count, estimated at postal cost and confirmed by email before you pay. Free worldwide shipping on orders over € 100. Parcels leave the house on Tuesdays and Fridays, so an order placed on Saturday travels on Tuesday. No rush shipping exists here.
Pressing send opens an email with your basket and details already written in it, addressed to us. You’ll get an answer from one of the poets with the final total and a payment link, iDEAL, card or PayPal. Parcels go to the post on Tuesdays and Fridays.
On a phone the order is still finished by hand: pressing the button opens an email with your basket in it. One poet, one kitchen table, no warehouse. Thanks for your patience while we build something smoother.
On a phone the order still travels the old way: tap below and your basket arrives as an email, which one of us reads at the kitchen table. Automatic ordering is being built, slowly, by the same pair of hands that folds the parcels. Thank you for the patience, and for reading this far.
Send it by email →7 Days is a poetry project by Boris van Bennekum & Jaïn van Nigtevegt
Travelling to cities that shaped world history, trying to see them beyond the tourist’s gaze. Each book: seven days in one city. Each day: seven poems. Each poem: seven lines of seven syllables.
The entire project is about seeing the unseen.
A form we made for this journey. Seven lines, seven syllables to a line, rhyming ABBAABA, so the first, fourth, fifth and last line answer one another while the middle three hold their own note. Seven septimi make a day, seven days make a city.
Readings, exhibitions, press or a poem you want to talk about.
Or write to us directly at welcome@7dayspoetry.com. One of us answers, by hand.
Thank you for writing to us. One of the two of us reads every message by hand and will answer as soon as we can.
